The Arsenal and Brazilian footballer Gabriel Jesus has been banned from Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) after getting a VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) from Valve, reportedly costing him $38k worth of gaming inventory. The 26-year-old took to his official X account to reveal his ban from CS2 for VAC, claiming that it happened “unfairly” before tagging the Counter-Strike on the platform for help.

The VAC bans are typically permanent, which allows the CS2 to prevent the real cheaters from competing in the game on their secure servers. It will lead to Gabriel Jesus not being able to play matches on VAC-secured servers until the removal of his ban, which can only happen if there is a mistake from Valve’s end.
Shortly after getting banned on Counter-Strike 2, Gabriel Jesus sent out a post on his official X account, which read, “Hi @counterstrike my account received a VAC ban unfairly, can you help me?” The sudden turn of events shocked the Brazilian CS2 Community, who couldn’t understand why the VAC ban was served to one of the biggest footballers in the country.
As of right now, the exact reason for the Brazilian’s ban on CS2 is yet to be ascertained. But, the most prevalent one is the use of third-party software, intervening with the application. Moreover, Gabriel Jesus reportedly had an inventory worth $38k on Counter-Strike 2, which included expensive skins M4A1-S Hot Rod and other rare skins such as AK-47 Wild Lotus, AWP Dragon Lore, and more. Now, with his current ban, he will not be able to trade, sell, or use these skins at all.
