Solskjaer is under severe pressure at Old Trafford having won just once in his last five games.

But his record stands up well against much-loved Anfield boss Klopp's at the same point in their Premier League managerial careers.

Solskjaer has taken charge of 162 United games and won 89 of them.

That is one more victory than Klopp had managed after his first 162 games - with the German drawing 44 and losing 30 in the same period.

Solskjaer has drawn just 36 and lost 37 of his.

The pair are set to face each other at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Manchester City legend Pep Guardiola blows both men out the water with his 116 wins from his first 162.

The Spaniard only lost 22 and drew 24 in that period, putting him head and shoulders above his north west counterparts.

Despite Solskjaer's superior win record compared to Klopp, 85 per cent of SunSport readers still think it is time for him to go.

They were asked: "Should United sack Ole now?"

And 85 per cent said: Yes, he's got to go."

Just 10 per cent said: "No, give him time."

And five per cent remained undecided.

'TRICKY FEW WEEKS'

SunSport exclusively revealed on Sunday United's hierarchy are fully behind Solskjaer and have no intention of sacking him.

The Red Devils manager has had a tricky few weeks after another loss at Leicester on Saturday.

His side also drew against Everton and lost against Aston Villa the week before that.

They also struggled at home to Villarreal in the Champions League before winning in the last minute.

But despite growing frustrations among fans and calls for him to be axed, United are backing their boss.

United see him as a long-term project, and are fully behind what he is trying to create as they fight for the Premier League title.

Earlier this month, Sir Alex Ferguson was caught criticising his team selection for not starting Cristiano Ronaldo against Everton.
